Glenn K. CurrieGlenn K. Currie is a humorist, essayist and poet who also works as a business and stock market consultant. In past lives he was a Naval Officer, Little League manager (softball), warehouse worker, legal aid, CEO and CFO in Corporate America, portfolio manager, paper boy, Eagle Scout, and door-to-door candy salesman. He graduated from Dartmouth College when they still had an active NROTC program on campus (1965), and has taken post-graduate courses at Michigan State, Georgetown, and Oxford University. Mr. Currie served in the U. S. Navy from 1965-1969, and worked in Corporate America from 1970 -1986 before returning to New Hampshire to start a private consulting business. He has been a regular contributor to The Concord Monitor for the last decade and also writes for New Hampshire Magazine. He has written for several magazines and newspapers over the last thirty years and his poetry has been published in anthologies and a variety of journals. He plays a reasonable game of tennis, a bad imitation of golf and works out three days a week, unless he can find a decent excuse for not showing up. Mr. Currie lives with his wife, Susanne, in Concord, New Hampshire. His two daughters, Diana and Lara, live under assumed names in Colorado and New Hampshire. He is an active volunteer with Concord Hospital, The Visiting Nurses Association, Concord Community Television and the New Hampshire Historical Society. Mr. Currie writes frequently for the Concord Monitor and is an occasional contributor to New Hampshire Magazine.
